This all happened over breakfast, a bunch of wedding suppliers wanting to get creative on a cold wet morning in late February desperately waiting for Spring. The light evenings, the sunshine, the colours. Of course we could’ve waited the extra month for wedding days to start fully again. Where’s the fun in that? We chatted about what we were loving at the moment… lilac and where would we love to shoot, Plas Dinam Country House. This is where this beauty of a shoot was born. Lilac Spring Wedding Inspiration

Can we just pause for this epic lilac suit? I thought it would look incredible for a bride or groom. It adds a beautiful pop of colour. But because it’s a suit, it also feels more daring. It gives more of a WOW factor. Everyone always assumes one half of the couple will be wearing white. So this alternative wedding outfit, adds a quirky element, something totally unexpected.

One of my many favourite aspects of this lilac spring wedding shoot is the wedding bouquet, against the lilac it’s just perfection (cue chefs kiss!) It’s exciting to add brighter colours to an already beautiful colour palette. Tina from Forever Green Blooms thinks so creatively about flowers, bouquets and installations. Man oh man is this insane installation, off the charts epic! I mean the photo shots are endless. Use it as a backdrop for a ceremony, for a top table and it would add such a modern dimension as a backdrop for portraits too.
