My approach
I take a relaxed and modern approach to wedding photography, documenting everything as it naturally happens.
My focus? The authentic, fun, and real moments. I capture your wedding day exactly as it feels; The subtle glances between you both during your vows, tears of joy in your loved ones eyes, confetti getting EVERYWHERE (it happens!) and those unexpected bursts of laughter.
I believe it's important to remember and cherish both the big and the quiet moments of a wedding.

Everyone says it, and it’s true; it’ll be one big happy blur. I don’t want you worrying about a thing, I am the queen of prepping! Yes, I don’t just show up on your wedding, I believe wedding photography starts way before the day itself. I like to chat things through closer to your wedding day, so by the time your day comes round, it feels like an old pal has turned up to capture your moment. From timelines, to photo lists, and little bits of direction, I’m there for it all. I want you to truly let your hair down, knowing I’ve got you.
I’m with you from your wedding morning through to first dance (if you’re having one) if there’s mayhem on the dance floor, I like to stay a bit longer and capture the party.
I’ve done this a lot. I’ve shot over 250 weddings, (yes 250!!) and my modern approach to wedding photography works. It’s that simple.
I love a candid photography, in fact I think it really shows how fun and relaxed a day is. These authentic moments are my favourite to photograph. But I also know the importance of having some family photos. With my process and approach, I promise you, it doesn’t take as long as you think (I’ve heard the nightmare stories about other weddings too). It’s just not my style, we create a ‘must have’ family photo list because I really want you to be in your wedding, enjoying it, experiencing it because the photography should be about the wedding not the wedding about the photography.
We work together to make this an unforgettable experience, and that the photographs will be a reminder of the time everyone got together to celebrate your love story.

02. let’s talk
If we both swipe right (so to speak) and we both think we’re a match. We organise a call to get to know each other chat through how I work and you can tell me more about you both.
03. we’re a match!
After I’ve done another happy dance in my kitchen, (yep it happens!) and you’ve accepted a quote, signed a contract and paid your booking fee, you can cross off ‘booked awesome photographer’ from your wedding ‘to do’ list.

the investment
Most of my couples invest on average between
£2500-£3000 for their wedding photography. For a guide, my 2026 full day collection starts at £2200. I also offer shorter bespoke coverage options.

My full day wedding collection includes, me Michelle as your wedding photographer. You’ll receive copies of your digital images (500+), a slideshow and an online gallery to share with your loved ones. You’ll also get, a parcel in the post with 20 6x4 prints and a couple of Polaroids of you beauties. Because who doesn’t love a Polaroid?
You can add on 35mm film, a couples shoot, a fine art album and a second shooter to any coverage too.
When you’ve booked I also send you my incredible ‘Welcome Brochure’ which is packed full of tips, tricks, advice and recommended suppliers. Like I said, I’ve got you.

I typically cover two hours of your wedding morning through to first dance and a little bit after. I offer up to 10 hours of coverage.

I’ll travel anywhere! I’m often in the West Country, London, the Cotswolds the list goes on. So although I’m based in Cardiff, I would be more than happy to travel anywhere to celebrate with you.

Yes and so is my equipment. I'm prepared, carrying a mixture of different cameras and lenses, so if the unfortunate does happen, then I always have a back up.

In the unlikely event of me being too ill to work, I’ll call upon one of my reliable photography friends to help save the day!We combine a thoughtful, human-centered approach with clear communication and reliable results. It’s not just what we do—it’s how we do it that sets us apart.

Honestly, most people are! I’m not just saying it. My approach is to get natural photographs, so for the most part of the day I’ll be snapping away while you’re not even noticing.
