Jessica and Adam emailed me after being part of a wedding I’d photographed years earlier. It’s the absolute biggest compliment. They saw how I worked on a wedding day, loved my style and approach and saw the wedding photographs afterwards. The only question they had was ‘will you travel to Cornwall?’ And that’s how I ended up shooting Trevenna Barns wedding photography in Cornwall, capturing relaxed, creative and fun photography for Jessica and Adam.

The venue itself is an absolute dream, from the kind and helpful staff (I’ve never been so well looked after!) to the barn and the grounds. You can choose to get married outside on a dry day, or the Garden Venue itself is incredible if you want to get married inside. With beautiful natural light pouring in, it’s a photographers dream.
We got to enjoy all parts of Trevenna Barns, from using the rooms upstairs where the bridal party were getting ready. To the separate accommodation for the guys on the wedding morning. Then the barn for ceremony and the wedding reception and the grounds for the confetti and drinks reception. This venue is perfect for my style of wedding photography.
Cream and Soft Blues Wedding Style
I loved so much of this wedding, the colours (swoon!) Jessica’s Jesus Peiro wedding dress (swoon!) A wedding party game for photos (my absolute favourite!). I feel so lucky to keep match making, (so to speak) with so many like minded couples. Kind people, who trust me, bring tons of enthusiasm and just want to enjoy relaxed wedding photography too.
Relaxed Barn Wedding Photography
My approach suited Jessica and Adam perfectly. They wanted me to tell the story of their day. My style is capturing the days as it unfolds, capturing moments that might be forgotten as well as the big moments. The message I received after them seeing their previews says it all:
“Oh jeez your photos have had us both in floods of tears!! They are truly amazing and we cannot thank you enough. We can’t stop watching the video.”
Photographing a wedding at Trevenna Barns was an absolute joy to capture. I can’t wait to be back and photograph more weddings at this beauty of a venue.
