French Destination Wedding Photography

A French chateau wedding venue set in the village of Faux, just outside of Bordeaux in France. But more importantly set in the village Samantha grew up as a child. Some couples choose a destination wedding for the weather or because they love a particular country. But Samantha and Tom chose this venue as it has such a personal meaning to Samantha. And I was there to capture their French destination wedding photography.

Chateau Le Tour Wedding Venue

This venue is breath taking, the colours, the doorways (obviously!) and the driveway leading to the venue was incredible. There were a lot of twists and turns before this wedding. My flight was delayed, there were countless other hiccups, but Samantha was still smiling from ear to ear when I arrived.

Like any wedding we can’t predict the weather and although the forecast was pretty bad. We had a lot of dry spells throughout the day. My main concern was wanting to use the outside of Chateau Le Tour as a backdrop for wedding photographs. However the sun came out and we even had a rainbow in the late afternoon!

The whole weekend was fun and chilled out from start to finish just like Samantha and Tom. They were surrounded by so much love. Their family and friends are amazing, everyone was so kind and welcoming that by the end of the weekend I felt like I knew everyone. It was quite a weekend and I feel so lucky to have captured their wedding. So scroll down below and feast your eyes upon my French destination wedding photography, full of colour and fun!

Love my relaxed approach then I’m the photographer for you. I have lots of other lovely blog posts of real weddings and wedding tips. Check them out here and message me to say hey.
