Oxwich Bay wedding photography on a cold crisp Saturday in February. I was so excited to start wedding season this year. This was my first wedding at Oxwich Bay Hotel and I was over the moon to be capturing Kirsty and Stuart’s day. I didn’t think all that time ago while in secondary school that I’d be a wedding photographer, yet alone be lucky enough to photograph one of the girls weddings. Kirsty and Stuart’s wedding was particularly special for me because of all the memories we have from being at school together and spending our teenage years with our little group of friends. It was like no time had past and I got to create another special memory, not just for Kirsty but it’s a special one for me too.

Kirsty and Stuart had a relaxing morning getting ready. Kirsty with the girls and Stuart with his best man. While other family members were working their socks off. Kirsty’s Mum in particular was running around decorating the Chestnut Room. Isn’t the wedding decor just incredible? I think Alison Walters needs to go into wedding styling! This laid back, rustic feel flowed through the whole wedding from the wedding decor (swoon!) to the tweed suits, to the guests relaxing and soaking up the atmosphere.

I’m sure I don’t need to tell you all just how beautiful Kirsty looked on her wedding day. Kirsty’s eyes didn’t stop sparkling all day with pure happiness. She was smiling from ear to ear and I feel really thankful to have been part of this day.

Relaxed and Rustic Wedding

Like most couples Kirsty and Stuart mentioned they were a little worried about their wedding photographs, how to stand, that they think they’ll be awkward etc. (I really do get it, but fear not, together we create something awesome!!) And like all my couples they flipping nailed it. They enjoyed this time on Oxwich Bay together. Time away from their wedding guests. Letting it sink in, the realisation that they did it… they just became Mr and Mrs Horsford!

If you love my style and the way I captured this Oxwich Bay Hotel wedding, then I’d love to hear more about you and your day. Get to know me and read my ‘Meet Me’ page and see if you think I’m the girl for you. I’m now booking for 2019 and 2020 weddings.
