I always say it’s your day, plan your wedding your way. Whether you want to keep traditions or change it up altogether. There are very few ‘musts’ that I’d suggest during wedding planning, but an engagement session is something I think every couple should try to do. There are so many advantages to do an engagement shoot, if you haven’t yet read my previous blog about the advantages of an engagement session then click the link and read all about it.  I found all my couples were a lot more relaxed on their wedding day and enjoyed it so much more. Clare and Craig’s Langland beach engagement session was the perfect way to celebrate their engagement, get them excited that their big day is approaching and of course getting their fur babies involved in the engagement session too.

An engagement session is a relaxed and fun way to get to know me and how I work. You’ll get a bit more comfortable in front of the camera. Trust me it’s true, I’ve had brides tell me on their wedding day how much easier their wedding photographs were. An engagement session is just another opportunity to celebrate your engagement, you’re getting married! It’s a big flipping deal!!

Langland Beach Engagement Session

Clare and Craig chose Langland beach for their session, somewhere they won’t get to on their wedding day. A place they could have their dogs run around and I was super happy because the light was gorgeous on this Summers evening. A perfect Summers evening for a Langland beach engagement session. Scroll below and look through their gallery of photographs, I can’t wait for their wedding in Oldwalls.

What do you think about engagement sessions? Do you love them? Or maybe you benefited from doing one before your wedding? I’d love to hear from you. And if you’re not getting married but fancy celebrating your relationship, get in touch. I also offer couples session, yep you don’t have to be getting married. Just celebrate you, get photographs taken and have a blast doing it. Lets make some memories.
