Lake Country House Hotel wedding photography on a warm Saturday in June. I loved everything about Rhian and Dafydd’s day. It was warm and dry but with a little bit of drama in the sky. It was full of special touches from the Rhian’s dad singing in the choir. To home baked goods being handed out outside of church.

The day started like most weddings with bridal preparations. I loved that the bridal party got ready in such a special place of Rhian’s, her grandparents home. It was the perfect way to include them in the day. I made sure I used aspects of the home as a backdrop for photographs, I particular love my shoe shot on the green carpet.

My favourite part of the church was guests enjoying the home baked goods while chatting away, having a catch up. Then the confetti shot, I love a confetti shot. It’s such a beautiful moment that everyone wants to be part of even guests that shy away from the camera!

After the ceremony we headed to a beautiful viewpoint for a few couple photographs and then onto Lake Country House Hotel. This was my first wedding at Lake Country House Hotel and I made sure I used everything the grounds had to offer. We were so lucky that with the dry weather. Guests got to enjoy drinks outside, play lawn games and we made sure we used the driveway and gardens for photographs. My favourites being the purple flowers, this was just such a beautiful backdrop for couple photographs.

After the wedding breakfast guests got to enjoy speeches, a relaxing evening in Summer sunshine and an awesome live set by Festival Heart. I left as guests were dancing the night away. It was such an amazing end to a beautiful day.
