I’d been looking forward to Katy and Nick’s outdoor wedding since their first enquiry about Glanusk Estate Wedding Photography. Of course when you book anything outdoors in Wales, you have to think the weather might not do exactly what you want. However the rain didn’t spoil anyones fun. Katy and Nick’s outdoor tipi wedding in Glanusk Estate was brilliant, some sunshine, a few showers and a rainbow. Katy and Nick’s wedding showed their fun and relaxed personalities and how much they love the outdoors.

The morning started with bridal preparations and me capturing the girls getting ready,  before heading over to the guys and to see them decorating Nick’s gold Land Rover, and of course getting ready themselves.

The guests got to see the whole estate, having the wedding ceremony at Penmyarth House and then heading over to the tipi reception overlooking the rest of the Glanusk Estate. Even though we did have some showers, all the guests wore wellies and enjoyed every minute of being outdoors. I loved Katy and Nick’s attitude towards the weather, rain wasn’t going to spoil their day. My favourite part was the wedding evening, when the dance floor was packed and guests danced the night away enjoying Katy and Nick’s fun outdoor wedding in Crickhowell. I love to stay for the evening reception, and this time Nick’s mother, told me to put my camera away, and dance with her. I love feeling like a guest at a wedding. Getting to know every couple so much, it’s like an old friend has come along to photograph your day.

Thank you Katy and Nick for booking me to create your Glanusk Estate Wedding Photography, I had the best day with you both. I’m really excited about booking more outdoor tipi weddings in Glanusk Estate in Crickhowell.
