Lynzi and Sean had a rainy Summer wedding back in August. They chose Court Colman Manor Hotel for their ceremony and reception, it was the perfect setting for their Court Colman wedding. Sun or rain Court Colman has a lot to offer and I loved the challenge of a few rainy spells on this Sunday wedding.

I first met Lynzi and Sean a year before their wedding date. We met for coffee, and they told me all about their ideas. I left feeling so excited. Skulls and cameos (total swoon!) as part of thier wedding style, this was so different, I already loved it. I couldn’t wait to photograph their wedding and see their ideas come to life.

Court Colman Wedding Day

The wedding day was a fun and emotional one, from Lynzi’s dad seeing her for the first time to having close friends Into the Ark playing while she walked down the aisle. One of my favourite moments was the sand ceremony with Lynzi, Sean and Lynzi’s two children taking part. The wedding sand ceremony symobilsed their unity and coming together as one family. It was such a beautiful and special idea to end the wedding ceremony.

Lynzi and Sean wanted a relaxed day especially with photographs. So I did what I always do. I documented the whole day as it was unfolding starting with bridal preparations (Amazing hair by Absolutely Fabulous hair Salon, and beautiful make-up by Leanne Warren Hester). Capturing the laughter throughout the day and the odd silly photograph. Lynzi wanted fun photographs, always asking ‘can we pull a silly face next?’ I loved this day!

The individual touches that Lynzi and Sean did was amazing. Everything I imagined and more. The skulls and cameos with touches of rose gold, was put together so beautifully. And of course the wedding cake by Simply Wedding Cakes, was just incredible! It was a work of art in itself.

If you’re having a Court Colman wedding, I’d love to hear from you. Get in touch and send me a message all about your ideas and wedding plans.
