This was quite a special one for me, my first destination wedding in France. Hannah and Sam’s wedding in Chateau de la Couronne in Marthon was simply, perfect.

The Chateau de la Couronne is breathe taking, there are so many wonderful rooms with different decor. It made it so much fun for bridal preparation shots. (I particularly loved the piano!) And of course the grounds of the Chateau, guests really got to enjoy later on in the sunshine.

The morning started with a little bit of rain. But this didn’t stop the excitement for Hannah and her bridesmaids. They spent the morning having hair and make-up done, laughing and of course having the odd glass of Prosecco! I loved using all the rooms in Chateau de la Couronne for the detail shots from Hannah’s wedding shoes by Christian Louboutin and her wedding dress by Stephanie Allin. As the girls finished off getting ready the sun came out and stayed for the rest of the day.

Hannah and Sam looked stunning, the love that these two have for each other is wonderful to witness. They giggled a lot together, having wedding photographs with Duchess the dog and then enjoying the rest of the day laughing and joking with their guests. The day was elegant and fun, with so many lovely touches. My favourite being their entrance music to their wedding breakfast, ‘Be Our Guest’ from the Disney film Beauty and the Beast, added such a fun element to the wedding breakfast.

A fun filled wedding day in France, where Mr and Mrs Dyer just made me giggle from start to finish. Hannah and Sam thank you for choosing me to be your wedding photographer in Marathon, France. It was an amazing day and experience. I’m looking forward to booking more weddings in France. If you are looking for a destination wedding photographer, please get in touch. I’m now taking bookings for 2018/2019.
