Autumn Wedding at Fairyhill, Gower

Autumn goodness right here. When a couple plan for a crisp Autumn wedding at Fairyhill, a warm, sunny day… and get just that. I can’t even tell you how many happy dances I did, I was thrilled Lucy and Adam got to have their first choice, an outdoor ceremony. They got to enjoy an outdoor drinks reception and yes, you read this right, it wasn’t Spring or Summer, this was an Autumn Wedding at Fairyhill.

Fairyhill Wedding

The wedding morning was chilled out, the couple got ready in separate cottages close to each other. This meant I could capture bits of each morning, the bride getting ready with her friends and the groom getting ready with his family. This was all while staring at the beauty of Lucy’s E&W Couture dress for a while, haha! I mean the button detail down the front, isn’t she a beauty? Teamed with leopard print shoes and the Autumn colours in the wedding bouquet… swoon!

Autumn Wedding Flowers

Can we just pause for a minute? To appreciate the most magnificent flowers by Eve Francesca Designs. The Autumn colours are dreamy, from the buttonholes, to the bouquet to the floral installation. The epic installation was used as a backdrop for the ceremony, a backdrop for portraits and a backdrop for the top table in the K-room. It really brought the Autumn dreaminess to life having these beautiful oranges throughout the day.

Wedding at Fairyhill

Fairyhill grounds have so much to offer, from the swing to the bridge to the gardens behind the house and the ivy crawling up the building. We made use of it all! I always say to my couples, the more you do, the more you get. I don’t mean spending hours taking couple photos, it’s really not my thing, but doing quick little bursts and being present for photos means we can capture a variety and really make use of everything a venue has to offer.
