This month we went to Amesterdam! We wanted another city break so decided Amsterdam was our next stop. One of my many aims this year has been to take more photographs for myself. Portraits, holiday photographs and personal work. So while travelling I’ve been snapping away last week, so here is a blog all about my Amsterdam holiday photography.

Amsterdam was crazy, so crazy I feel like I need another holiday. There were cars, trams and bike, and more bikes… everywhere! Our main reason for going was to see my boyfriend’s favourite band Nine Inch Nails play. The London gig had sold out, so I suggested a trip to a different city (any excuse for a break away!) So either side of the gig we spent a day wandering round, sightseeing and of course eating!

Like most cities we opted for the boat tour to see the city in a calmer setting, I really can’t recommend this enough. It was so warm in Amsterdam it was great to feel a breeze and chill out for an hour taking in the sights. We then wandered around on foot to Waterlooplein Market, an incredible flee market. Full of so many different things, the textures and colours were amazing, and the chips were pretty awesome too.

On the last day, we stumbled upon Kopjes Cat Cafe for a morning of cake and cats. A perfect start to a Thursday morning and then relaxed in the sunshine.

It was a jam packed week, but it was amazing to see the city again and take Amsterdam holiday photography for fun. I’m looking forward to seeing where we end up next. Check out more of my blog to read all about my South Wales wedding photography and destination wedding photography. I have also been blogging about other trips so have a read about a recent time away, all about my holiday in Venice.
